Full Description: Loon Lake Trailhead to Buck Island Lake. Trail was reconstructed by the CCCs in 2017 in partnership with SMUD. Trail was rerouted starting approx. 2 miles west of Buck Island. To stay on course, look for constructed rock steps, large rock trail markers, and green flagging. Enjoy the reconstructed trail.
