Type of Issue: Unstable_Snow

Full Description: There is a snow patch on the north side Phipp's Pass that our group did not feel was safe to cross where the trail crosses the snow. We were able to scramble all the way up to the top of the snow patch and go around it. It is somewhat time consuming to go around the snow, but it was absolutely the safer choice for the conditions on August 5, 2017.
