Full Description: The Velmas crossing was thigh deep, but very doable on 7/03. Hiker's recommendation is to cross at the actual trail crossing as there's a pool below it; I was told some hikers were crossing lower down above some rapids. Patchy going out of the Eagle trailhead starting a bit north of the Bayview trail junction, and very wet & patchy thru Middle Velma. North facing campsites at Middle Velma are still flooded or snow covered, some opportunities for camping in more south facing areas
