Full Description: Two backpackers with a valid overnight permit for the Avalanche area report that the trail and boulder-scramble to the top of Horsetail Falls is clear of snow. Lots of water on trails, especially in the area just into Desolation Wilderness. Snow beyond the crest of Horsetail Falls to Ropi Lake.
