Full Description: Trail is mostly dry; a few mounds of snow exist just before Sylvia Lake. Water flows are spring-like, but creeks are safe to cross. Biggest trail obstacles right now are 26 logs or tree parts down in the 3 1/2 miles to the Desolation Wilderness boundary sign, with the largest being 36-ish inches across. Within the Wilderness are two trees down, together, with the largest being 48-ish inches across.
