Full Description: Trail is mostly free of snow, though water covers some parts of the trail. The creek from Lake of the Woods was at full capacity, but crossing was not a challenge, upstream from the trail. Down near Ropi, the last 2/10 mile were snowbound on July 5, but one can easily cover that ground on rock to the south.... The biggest challenge on July 5 was coming down either west side or east side of Lake of the Woods from the north end.
